Cool Drinks at Caesars Newest Lobby Bars
Lobby Bar at Caesars Palace
After a huge super-expensive renovation and expansion, the Lobby Bar at Caesars Palace is open and there will be a lot of ooh’s and ah’s when you see it. Elegant and sophisticated, it’s decorated in Caesar style with a contemporary Roman look and gold accents, just the way you would expect. It’s open 24/7 also, so a middle of the night drink or breakfast pick me up is available.
The drink menu has been expanded by expert mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim to include some fabulous new cocktails. Anyone knowledgable about mixology recognizes Abou-Ganim as the author of popular books on mixology, as well as having appeared on such TV programs as “Good Morning America” and “Iron Chef America.” The Chairman’s Manhattan (named after you-know-who) which uses Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select Tennessee Whiskey and the Tennessee Highball #2 are his latest additions.
The Sinatra Select is a special barrel whiskey that makes these drinks pricey but they are that special. The Chairman’s Manhattan is Sinatra Select, with Carpano Antica Formula vermouth, Dale DeGroff’s pimento bitters and garnished with cherries, while the Tennessee Highball #2 features the Sinatra Select, fresh lemon juice, Fee Brothers orange bitters, gomme syrup and Fever-Tree ginger beer. That’s exotic. Besides trying out one of the new drinks, everyone will want to check out a place that cost one million just to renovate. When it’s Caesars, you know it’s unbeatable.

Bound by Salvatore at The Cromwell
Cocktail lovers are going to be wild over the recently opened “Bound by Salvatore” Lobby Bar at the Cromwell, Las Vegas’ ultra-plush new hotel and casino. It is open 24/7 and features a marvelous circular bar and is designed to be intimate and warm and accomplishes just that. The well-known signature cocktails made famous by Salvatore Calabrese are joined by some inticing new creations including espresso cocktails, signature drinks and champagne cocktails.
You may want to try the Breakfast Martini, invented by Salvatore when his wife insisted he eat breakfast. His response was this amazing gin cocktail mixed with the best orange marmalade, the same thing he uses on his toast for breakfast. You might also want to try one of the new espresso cocktails served in an Italian moka pot, perfect for that early morning wake-up call.
