A Bar for Burgers
Burgers and fries will be an American staple as long as the United States is around. In the past decade or so burgers have really come into their own and become separated into two categories: bargain and gourmet.
Bargain burgers are usually found at fast food joints and chain restaurants. It’s comfort food at a comfortable price (usually under $10).
What’s really changed about burgers recently is the premium ingredients used to make a great burger. It can almost challenge a good steak for best use of beef. One of the first places in Las Vegas to take the burger to another level is Burger Bar.
Located inside the mall between Mandalay Bay and Luxor, Burger Bar looks unassuming yet the quality of meat on the menu ranges from Kobe to Wagyu beef. This burger will cost you closer to $20, but you can definitely taste the difference.
Imagine biting into a soft, juicy steak accompanied by vegetables, a light sauce and two soft buns. It’s really more like a high-end steak than it is a burger.
The ambiance inside feels more like a bar where you would go to watch the game with your friends, but the menu is more striking to a fine dining establishment. There’s several bars and burger joints in Las Vegas to choose from, but if you’re going to have a burger you might as well try something different. It’s hard to compare a gourmet burger to a bargain one because the quality of taste (not to mention the experience) is completely unique. So the next time you’re in Vegas craving a burger, step it up a notch and try Burger Bar!
