It’s time to rev those motorcycle engines and head out to Pahrump for the 1st annual Spring Mountains Run. Monte Perlin, stunt double (can you say extreme stunt?) for Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 3, will be there, and the concert stage will feature Skynnyn Lynnyrd, those talented tribute artists of the great southern hard-rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. There will also be great local bands and the music will be flowing.

The event opens on Friday, June 20, with registration and an assortment of events: including a mini-poker run, slow bike race, demos by Monte Perlin’s Globe-O-Cross (one of the most amazing stunts you will ever see) and a visit to the Chicken Ranch for a mini-poker-run with drinks and hors d’oeuvres to culminate with the wet T-shirt contest at 11 p.m.

Saturday will be a ride-in show, poker run and many other events including music by the “On Target Band” and Skynnyn Lynnyard, followed by a VIP after party starting at 9 p.m. and ending, of course, with a wet T-shirt contest.

Sunday, June 22, culminates the festivities with church service, and a day of fun and music with a burn off at Spring Mountain Grill and the afternoon appearance by Monte Perlin.

What a great way to enjoy your bike and the camaraderie of others as you take a scenic run to Death Valley, and go to two wineries, an opera house and a race track. This is going to be three days of motorcyclist fun and yes, there will be shade, so fire up your hog and come join hundreds of other bikers and head on down to Pahrump.
