Stoney’s Rockin’ Country
Stoney’s is located at Town Square, 6611 South Las Vegas Blvd., and if you like country dancing, this is a hot nightspot. Live bands, DJs and a state of the art sound system combined with a 2,500 sq. ft. dance floor will bring out the dancer in you. Don’t know how to dance and want to learn? Stoney’s also offers free dance lessons and $15 will get you unlimited draft beer for the evening. The atmosphere at Stoney’s is relaxed and if you are into honky tonks, you have found your home.
Whether you are a novice and want to learn how to dance country style or you are a practiced hoofer, there are daily lessons on weekdays so you will be ready to hit the dance floor on the weekend. So, check out the schedule, pardner, polish off your boots and mosey on over.
Monday is swing night with lessons to learn the Lindy, East Coast and West Coast, Tuesday learn the Two Step and Thursdays is ladies night, complete with bikini bull riding and chance to win a large cash prize. If you left your bikini at home, you can enjoy watching the action from the bleachers.
Upcoming music concerts feature Joshua Paige, a really popular up and coming singer on the West Coast who just completed two national tours. This is a fantastic opportunity to be able to say, “I saw him when…” Talented singer and songwriter, Charlie Worsham, who is appearing at the 2nd Annual Taste of Country Music Festival along with Brad Paisley, is showcasing his stuff here in April. Also appearing in April is Brad Johnson and The Killin’ Time Band. These guys are fabulous and they have opened for just about every star in country music. Oh, don’t forget. Jason Boland and The Stragglers are coming in May with with a style that takes you back to the good ole’ days of country and western.
