Farmer’s Markets in Las Vegas
Farmer’s Markets are an evasive event in Vegas. There are many farmer’s markets around the city, and they are growing in popularity, but each are usually open in one location, one day a week, for only a few hours only. Keeping track of which market is open when, and where, is confusing. So here is a list, to make it easier to get your farm fresh food fix.
Friday:
9am-2pm:
Downtown 3rd Farmer’s Market. Located in central Las Vegas, on Casino Center Drive, just as you come off the Main Street exit of US-95, this is a new, but huge farmer’s market, that is also part of the gentrification of Las Vegas’s historic downtown area. This is an inside market, a few blocks walk from the downtown stop on the Strip bus lines. It’s easy to visit for tourists and locals.
3-7pm:
Fresh 52 Farmers and Artisan Market. This market is located at Whole Foods in Town Square (on 6689 Las Vegas Blvd – South of Mandalay Bay). You’ll find fresh produce, handmade, natural foods, and crafts. Sometimes they have live music or demonstrations by local chefs. You never know what to expect each week here!
Saturday:
9am-2pm:
Tivoli Village (located in the west in Summerlin, across the street from the Sun Coast Casino at 302 South Rampart). The Fresh 52 Farmer’s and Artisan Market moves to the other end of Vegas today, taking place in the new Tivoli Village Shopping Plaza.
10am-2pm (first and third Saturday of the month only!):
At Floyd Lamb Park, way north off 95, (at 9200 Tule Spring Road) is The Las Vegas Farmer’s Market. Another farmer’s plus artisan market, you will find delicious, fresh, organic fruits and veggies, along with freshmade breads and various crafts and jewelry. Just make sure you have the right week, or you will drive there for nothing.
Sunday:
8:30am-1pm:
Fresh 52 goes to the east side at 9480 South Eastern Road at Sansone Park Place. Fresh foods, crafts, and surprise events take place each week.
Tuesday:
4-8pm:
The Las Vegas Farmer’s Market moves to south-east Vegas. You can find it at 1041 Garden Park Drive, right off the 215 exit for Town Center Drive. This market is good for anyone wanting to grab some fresh grub on their way home from work.
Wednesday:
4-8pm:
The Las Vegas Farmer’s Market makes another after-work showing, this time almost directly north of their Tuesday location. On Wednesday, the market appears in Bruce Trent Park, on the corner of North Rampart and Vegas Drive (1600 N. Rampart). This location is just north of the Sun Coast Casino, Tivoli Village, and Boca Park, and is easily reached from the Rampart exit off the Summerlin Parkway. It’s small, but has great fresh food and, being at a park, is a great place to bring the whole family for some dinner and fun.
