Tour The City On A Big Bus
If you have been to Las Vegas and walked on the Strip, you have seen the Big Bus. It is a large, double-decker with an open top upper deck. There is no better way to learn the layout of the city with no hassle and plenty of information provided. You are welcome to disembark at any of the stops to visit the attractions that interest you most. You then can pick it up again at the same spot or walk to one of the other attractions to get back on and continue your tour.
The Day Tour and the Night Tour require their own tickets. If you have chosen the one day, hop on and off tour, you can get a second day for free. This tour also includes an experienced guide and entertainment while on board. It takes little encouragement to get him to talk about the colorful past of Las Vegas and its many different characters. The bus will depart every thirty minutes or so between 10 am and 6 pm. The tour takes about three hours if you do not hop on and off.
The hotel/casinos provided for hopping on and off the Strip Tour are the Wynn/Encore, Tropicana, Excalibur, Planet Hollywood, Bally’s, and Circus Circus. Other stops are at the Atomic Testing Museum, The Hawaiian Marketplace, and the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign (for picture taking).
The Downtown Tour stops are at Circus Circus, Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, Fremont Street, The Mob Museum, the Arts Factory, The Golden Nugget, The East El Cortez, the Stratosphere, and the Las Vegas Premium Outlets.
The Night Tour will give you an unforgettable view of both the Strip and the Downtown area at the best time to see the lights and colors that exist only here in such opulent splendor. Because of the open top, picture taking opportunities will be endless! It originates from Circus Circus at 7 pm and from the Excalibur at 7:30 pm. This is a 3 ½ hour tour.
You will get to see the erupting volcano at the Mirage, the dancing fountains at the Bellagio, and other new attractions along The Strip. On the way to Downtown you will pass historic landmarks and many of the wedding chapels. When you get to Fremont Street there will be a brief walking tour. The Fremont Street Experience is dazzling and more than you can easily imagine. You will see tons of neon, the famous light and sound show, street artists and vendors, costumed entertainers, and live bands. All you will need is a camera, a bottle of water, and comfortable shoes!
